Style presets

A Style dropdown on the Thumbnail tab, with five looks. Each one drives a real layered renderer rather than just swapping a colour: soft shadow, outer glow, bordered plate, colour grade, and a subtle darkening behind the text so it stays readable over whatever is underneath it.

• Bold Shadow - the clean modern default. Soft drop shadow, mild grade.
• Gaming Punch - black title on a gold bordered plate. High energy.
• Cinematic - soft glow instead of a hard shadow, moodier grade.
• Clean Minimal - understated. Light shadow, gentle grade, no scrim.
• High Contrast - maximum pop and legibility.

Your choice is saved per profile, so a gaming series and a talking-head series can each keep their own.

A plate behind the logo

• Some logos - light ones, gold ones - simply vanish into busy backgrounds. You can now turn on a rounded backing plate behind the logo, in Profile Settings → Thumbnail, and pick its colour and opacity (85% by default).
• Off by default, because a solid logo doesn't need it.

How the text is drawn

• Thumbnail text is composited in layers now - plate, then glow, then shadow, then outline, then fill - with a fast box blur for the soft shadows and glows. The result reads as current rather than beginner.
• A light colour grade and an optional legibility scrim come as part of each style, tuned per preset.

Worth knowing

A style is a starting point, not a takeover. Your profile's title and subtitle colours, fonts and outline still apply - the preset only sets the styling layer on top. The one exception is Gaming Punch, which forces a black title so it reads against the gold plate.
